Wonders

How often does nature take my breath away?  The surprises come so frequently and without warning.  I think we all need to get outdoors more.  I am always struck by the colors and patterns of butterfly wings.  Yet, this shot of a Zebra Swallowtail demonstrates how unusual nature can be.  Mother Nature afforded me a view of the body of this creature that leaves me totally in wonder.  Would you have guessed at the intricate markings on the body?
